Bite-Sized Film Class

My college film classes are long behind me now. Real long. It would be sad to think about exactly how long.

BUT!

When I want just a taste of film history and analysis, I really dig Vanity Fair’s Notes on a Scene series. It can be a lot of fun when an expert in their field explains something they’re very passionate about, and that’s what this series gives you. It feels like the directors and actors are teaching you how they see the world, just like an engineer can show you how something works or a chef can walk you through each step of a recipe.

I particularly like this one…

It’s a great little series, and if you can find a scene from a movie you enjoy, I really recommend you give it a try.
