WIP Update

It’s taken 22 months, but my current work in progress has just completed its first draft.

The next few drafts will need quite a bit of work. The current manuscript is at a flabby 150,000 words, and I have dozens of pages of notes on what needs to be fixed, clarified, deleted, and otherwise improved to get it down to a nice, lean story. But I think there’s some good stuff in this one.

All I can say at present is that this is, as I have alluded to before, a fantasy story. The image below is something of a hint of what to expect, but hopefully a suitably cryptic one.

Long roads ahead yet, but I’m looking forward to them.

For now, though, onwards and upwards.
