Addressing Rumors

This isn’t the kind of post I usually make, but in today’s climate, I figure it’s best to get out in front of a story, no matter how ugly the details may or may not be.

I don’t even know how a story like this one started to spread, but, in my opinion, it’s been blown way out of proportion.

Yes, my behavior yesterday led to some consequences that certain parties may consider serious. No, it is not something I’m ashamed of. I have nothing to apologize for (for once). I stand by my actions, and I don’t regret the consequences.

Thank you for all of you who’ve wrote in with support. Again, weird that you found out about this, but the sentiments are appreciated. The best way you can support me is setting the record straight when malicious parties try to misrepresent the facts. So, here it is:

Last night, due to my behavior throughout the day, I was sent to bed at 8 PM.

I was sent by myself.

Because I was so good all day, and I earned it.

LIES that I was sent without dinner are completely unfounded. Frankly, the dinner played a big part in the ruling.

My family and I will be taking time to process this decision and consider next steps. Please give us our privacy in light of this event.
